'I Am Legend' (15) is an 'edge of the seat' film that will keep you guessing what is around every corner! Cleverly directed by Francis Lawrence and starring Will Smith, it uses the basic human instinct of fighting for survival whilst being both predator and prey.

It tells the story of Robert Neville (Will Smith), a man who believes he is the last survivor in New York and maybe even the world. He is on the brink of finding a cure to the infectious disease that has nearly wiped out the human race. During the day he searches for food and other human activity with his faithful dog 'Sam' who keeps him company and gives him the head's up when one of the 'infected' may be close by. When night falls, he locks himself in his house while he listens to the stomach-churning noises and screams from outside.

An excellent film, Will Smith holds his audience brilliantly, an entertaining night out at Burton Cineworld.
